As an improvisor Step behind the scenes of one the quirkiest workplace you’ve never seen! Clocked In is a long-form improv class where you'll create an unscripted mockumentary set in an office full of eccentric characters, unexpected drama, and everyday chaos. Through character interviews, “talking head” moments, and ensemble scenes, you’ll learn to blend sharp comedic timing with authentic storytelling in the mundane workplace. Whether you’re a seasoned improviser or just curious about mockumentary style, this class offers a fresh, playful way to explore character-driven comedy and collaboration. Get ready to punch the clock and make some questionable work choices. Ending the session in a public showcase.

MARK DUNCANSON
Mark is a BATS School of Improv graduate who started his improv career in Liquid Soap, an episodic improvised soap opera. Since then, he has made a point of injecting improv into his professional life from the YMCA and Volunteer Center of Alameda County to his work at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton as Recreation Supervisor, retired. Mark has enjoyed time onstage with BATS Improv, How We First Met, Un-Scripted Theater Company, Leela, Center Rep, Bay Area Children’s Theatre, and more. Mark currently works in applied improv training companies across the country in the benefits of the “Yes, And…” mindset.
Mark is the founder of the award-winning improv troupe Creatures of Impulse (COI). COI has the honor of being the only improv troupe to represent the State of California at the Teen Comedy Festival in Chicago for four years, the only teen improv troupe to perform at the New York Musical Improv Festival, has performed at West Coast Musical Improv Festival three years, and was awarded Best of Fest in 2019 at the San Francisco Improv Festival. Mark is currently a permanent company member with the internationally renowned Improv Playhouse of San Francisco.
